1. About These Terms
These Terms of Service govern your use of Barrel River 2 (the App), provided by Ape Apps, LLC (Ape Apps, we, us). By using the App, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App. These terms apply to free and paid versions on all supported platforms. Provisions about accounts, online services, purchases, subscriptions, advertising, and user content apply only where those features are offered.
2. Eligibility and Accounts
You must be legally able to agree to these terms, or have a parent or legal guardian's permission and supervision where required by law. Follow the App's age rating and any feature-specific age requirements. If the App supports an optional Ape Apps Account, provide accurate information, keep your login credentials secure, and notify us if you believe your account has been compromised. You are responsible for your use of the App and your account, subject to applicable law.
3. License and Ownership
Subject to these terms and any applicable purchase conditions, Ape Apps grants you a limited, non-exclusive license to install and use the App on supported devices you own or are authorized to use. The App is licensed, not sold. Ape Apps and its licensors retain ownership of the App and its code, artwork, trademarks, and other content, except for content you or other users own. Separate licenses supplied with open-source or third-party components continue to apply.
4. Acceptable Use
Do not use the App to break the law, infringe others' rights, harass or exploit people, distribute unlawful content or malware, gain unauthorized access, or disrupt the App or its services. Do not cheat in online play, manipulate rankings, commit payment fraud, or bypass purchase validation or security measures. Do not copy, resell, redistribute, or reverse engineer the App except as expressly permitted by Ape Apps, a separate license, or applicable law.
5. Purchases, Subscriptions, and Refunds
Where offered, prices, included features, and purchase conditions are shown before payment. Payments made through Google Play, the Apple App Store, Steam, or another store are also subject to that store's payment terms. A purchase does not automatically include access on other platforms unless expressly stated. If subscriptions are offered, their billing period, renewal terms, and cancellation method are disclosed before you subscribe; manage or cancel them through the billing provider identified at purchase.
Refund requests should be submitted through the store or payment provider used for the purchase, or to support@ape-apps.com for assistance with direct Ape Apps purchases. Any applicable cancellation, withdrawal, refund, or other statutory consumer rights remain in effect. Nothing in these terms makes all purchases non-refundable or waives rights you have under applicable law.
6. Online Features, Virtual Items, and Advertising
Some features may require internet access, an account, supported software, or third-party services. You are responsible for your own connectivity charges. Where virtual items or currency are offered, they are licensed for use within the App, are not real-world money, and cannot be redeemed for cash or transferred outside the App unless expressly permitted or required by law. Some versions may display advertising; any paid advertising-removal offer applies as described at purchase.
7. Your Content
If the App lets you create, upload, or share content, you retain your ownership rights. You must have the rights needed to provide that content. You grant Ape Apps a non-exclusive permission to host, store, reproduce, and display it only as needed to operate the features you choose to use, including sharing with the audience you select. This permission does not transfer ownership of your content to Ape Apps. We may remove content that violates these terms or applicable law. Keep your own backups of important content and saved data.
8. Privacy and Third Parties
See the Barrel River 2 Privacy Policy for information about data use and privacy contacts. Third-party stores, linked websites, advertisements, and integrated services may have their own terms and privacy policies. These terms do not replace those policies or limit your data protection rights.
9. Updates, Availability, and Ending Use
We may provide updates or change features to maintain, improve, or secure the App or comply with law. Availability and compatibility may vary by platform and device. We do not promise that online services will run uninterrupted or remain available indefinitely. Where required by law, we will provide notice of material changes or discontinuation and any remedies due for paid features or services.
You may stop using the App at any time. We may restrict or suspend access to online features for a violation of these terms, unlawful activity, or a security risk. Where reasonably possible and legally appropriate, we will explain the reason and allow you to contact support to resolve the issue. Ending access does not remove any refund, data protection, or other rights provided by law.
10. Warranties and Liability
We aim to provide a useful and reliable App, but cannot guarantee that it will be free of errors or meet every need. To the extent permitted by law, the App is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without additional warranties, and Ape Apps is not responsible for indirect or consequential losses arising from its use. These limitations apply only where lawful. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits mandatory consumer guarantees, liability for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, death or personal injury caused by negligence, or any other liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.
11. Consumer Rights and Disputes
If you are a consumer, you retain all mandatory protections under the laws that apply to you, including applicable protections in your country of residence. These terms do not require arbitration or prevent you from bringing a claim before a court or using a dispute-resolution process available under applicable law. Please contact support first if you would like us to help resolve a concern.
12. Changes to These Terms
We may update these terms and will revise the date above when we do. Material changes will be communicated through the App or another appropriate channel where required by law, and we will request consent where required. Changes do not retroactively remove rights you already have. If you do not agree to revised terms, you may stop using the App, without losing any remedies available under applicable law.
