VirtuaBowl is a full 3D tenpin bowling game that runs on your phone, tablet, desktop, console-style gamepad and in VR — the same game, the same progress, one throw away on whatever screen is in front of you.

Real bowling, not a tap-timing minigame

Line up your stance, pick your angle, curl the ball and read the break as it hooks into the pocket. Every throw runs through real pin physics, so strikes, ringing ten-pins and ugly splits all come from where you actually put the ball — not from a hidden timing bar.

Play with anyone, on anything

Nine lanes, each with its own atmosphere

Start on Classic Alley, then bowl your way through Back Alley (cobblestones, brick and gaslight), Sunset Alley (neon downtown at night), Campfire Grove, Riviera Lanes (1962, all vinyl and plaster) and Lunar. Premium players also get Cosmic Lanes (1985, blacklight and carpet), Abyssal Reef and Tiki Cove.

Every lane is its own place rather than a reskin: its own palette, lighting and fog, and in several cases its own pin set and its own music. Lanes unlock as you play — at 3, 10, 25, 40 and 60 games — so there is always one more to bowl for.

Controls that suit whatever is in your hands

• Touch — drag to place the ball, flick forward to throw, bend the path to hook
• Mouse + keyboard — aim with the mouse, hold to charge, drag to curve, Q/E to spin
• Gamepad — sticks to line up, trigger to throw, bumpers to hook, one button to change camera
• VR (WebXR) — press the trigger to pick up the ball, aim with your hand, swing and release. The menus are drawn in 3D inside the headset, so you never have to take it off to change a setting.

Free to play, one honest upgrade

VirtuaBowl is free and supported by advertising. A single premium purchase removes advertising and unlocks all premium content at once — there is no piecemeal buying and nothing is sold twice. Three of the nine lanes are premium; the other six are free or earned by playing, and no lane is mechanically better than a free one, so the leaderboard stays honest.

VirtuaBowl is a progressive web app: it installs to your home screen or desktop, caches its assets locally, and launches straight into the lane. Same build everywhere — start a game on a laptop and keep bowling on a phone.
