Device Resource Manager is a free handy utility that allows you to manage the system resources on your Android device. It provides real time RAM usage updates and shows you which applications are recently active, and which applications you have not used in a long time, allowing you to make informed decisions on what to keep on your device, or what to uninstall in order to free up more space. It also provides quick one-tap access to the application management and settings page for each individual app.
Device Resource Manager was formerly named RAM Booster because back in 2013 when it was originally released, it worked as a task killed app, automatically closing out unused tasks and freeing up RAM. Since then, changes in the Android system no longer allow that type of functionality, so the operation of the app has had to evolve. It will now present you with a list of all of your user-manageable apps and show you which ones have been used recently. You can quickly jump to that apps settings page and force kill it, if you want to. It will now also show you which apps you are not using regularly (or at all) and let you quickly uninstall them in order to free up storage.
Try the app out. It is free, and if you have any suggestions for improvements, please leave them in the comments section!
